Paul has over 40 years of experience in the petrochemical and renewables industries. He is CEO of Strategic Biofuels which is developing its Louisiana Green Fuels Project, a 100 MW biomass power plant with carbon capture and integrated on-site permanent geologic CO2 sequestration. He has overseen project developments in the US, Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia. Prior to founding Strategic Biofuels, he served as COO and Executive Director for Velocys, a publicly traded company on the London AIM exchange. He previously served as Director of Operations and Global Sales Director Asset Integrity Management for SGS, and leadership roles at Monitor Labs, Catalytica, Phillips Petroleum, and Engelhard (now part of BASF). He is an inventor on 16 US Patents and an author of over 50 publications. He holds a BS in Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and performed graduate studies in Business at San Jose State University.
Bob has over 50 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, both onshore and offshore, as a drilling and production engineer, independent operator and industry consultant. He has supervised the drilling and completion of hundreds of wells along the US Gulf Coast, having begun his career with Chevron Oil as a drilling and production engineer. He has owned and operated several independent oil and gas companies with operations mainly in Louisiana and Mississippi, has been a principal in oil and gas property transactions involving thousands of wells and has provided expert testimony in complex oil and gas litigation. Bob was a founders of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association and served as an early Chairman. He joined Strategic Biofuels in 2020 and leads all aspects of the sequestration complex development and permitting. As a native of Caldwell Parish where the project is located, he also manages community engagement as well as all local and state governmental relations. Bob has a BS in Petroleum Engineering, Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University.
Dan has over 30 years’ experience across the C-Level and as an advisor/director with venture capital backed pre-revenue start-ups to public multi-office international organizations. Prior to joining Strategic Biofuels, Dan served as the COO and CFO of Epic Wireless Group, a wireless and EV charging infrastructure company. He has also served as the COO and CFO of three companies in the Biodiesel and Anaerobic Digestion space, one of which was based in Germany. Dan has extensive experience managing complex transactions, having been responsible for well over 100 M&A, capital raising and restructuring transactions. Dan has a BS in Finance, Cum Laude, from The Ohio State University and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
Paul has over 40 years of experience in the refined fuels and renewable energy space that includes process engineering, plant operations, operations planning and optimization, product trading and transportation, and environmental permitting. He began his career with BP in refining, plant operations, and trading and has held various product and federal/state credit trading positions with Mercuria and World Fuel Services, amongst others. Since co-founding Strategic Biofuels, Paul has been responsible for the inbound and outbound supply chains, developed deep knowledge of the forestry feedstock markets, including sustainability, and directs the environmental permitting activities for the project. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
Antoine has over thirty years of energy-related industry experience including ESG, power generation, midstream, refining, waste-to-energy and chemicals with both new ventures and industry leading organizations. He is an industry-recognized thought leader in project structuring in concert with financial institutions non-recourse lending and investment covenants. Prior to joining Strategic Biofuels, Antoine served as the Executive Vice President of Citroniq Chemicals (biomass-based polymers) and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development of Koch Project Solutions and Engineering Director for Wood Group Power Solutions (now Ethos Energy). Antoine began his career as a project delivery professional with Fluor and Wood. Antoine also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Green Graphite Technologies. He holds a JD from the South Texas College of Law Houston, a MBA from University of Houston Bauer School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Price has over 40 years of extensive project execution and overall company management experience in the heavy industrial sector including downstream refining, petrochemicals, power generation and renewable fuels. He has demonstrated success in leadership roles; building relationships with project stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence in developing new execution centers and companies. Price was most recently responsible for establishing and developing a Project Management Organization within Koch Industries as Vice President of Operations.
Project Execution responsibilities have included overall project management, owner’s representation, project controls, estimating, procurement and contract administration relating to the development, design, construction, and turnover of complete facilities; completing several large, international projects. He has domestic and international experience in the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, South America, and the Caribbean Basin; directing multiple managers on multiple continents. Price has a BS in Construction Engineering Technology from Pittsburg State University.
